Micaela is a specialty coffee sourced from the Cusco region of Peru, known for its exceptional flavor profile and unique notes of berry, honey, and fruity variety bourbon. This coffee is grown and produced by the Arisaca family, three brothers, and their wives who are dedicated to crafting the finest coffee possible. 

This lot was made with an extended 4-day fermentation in cherry in an anaerobic way and then pulped and fermented for an additional 47 hours, ending with a traditional wash. Dried on elevated racks for more than 8 days and covered with shade-grown tarps.

When brewed, Micaela exhibits a juicy acidity, balanced by a smooth body. The notes of berry and honey are prominent, with hints of tropical fruit and a subtle sweetness that lingers on the palate. The fruity variety of bourbon adds a depth of flavor and complexity that makes this coffee truly exceptional.

Named after the revolutionary leader Micaela Bastidas, this coffee is a tribute to her spirit of resilience and determination.
